1989: Mass State Police trooper Joe Flaherty writes a letter to Lawrence Captain Fitzpatrick asking someone to come out and question Charles E. Pierce who is confessing to the murder of a Lawrence boy.
1991: Bar Jonah and Chapman are determined “no longer sexually dangerous” and are released from their civil commitment. Bar Jonah is released into the community. Chapman goes to prison to serve his criminal sentence.
1991: A month after his release Nathaniel Bar Jonah tries to suffocate a child in the parking lot of a post office in Oxford, MA. He is given probation and told by MA authorities to go to Montana to live with his mother.
1995: Wayne W. Chapman writes letter to his friend, Nathaniel Bar Jonah in Montana
1996: Zachary Ramsay, a 10-year old boy from Montana goes missing
1998: Melanie gets access to a letter in Andy’s file naming Charles E. Pierce
1998: Cadaver dogs search area where Charles E. Pierce claims to have buried the bodies of two children.
1999: The Boston Globe publishes an 8-part series on Melanie’s search for her childhood friend, Andy

1976: A 13-year-old girl shares stories of abuse by juvenile delinquent boys and being forced to pose for sexually explicit Polaroid photos in the Stadium projects where Andy and Melanie lived.

1976: The 1975 victims identify Wayne W. Chapman as the man who abducted them in Lawrence
